You were born with a pattern, a pulse, a plan. But then came the world and it changed your hand. What's coded in stars gets shaped by skin, by stories, by parents, by where you've been.

So much of who you are was infused in that first moment, before you or this world even had a say. And yet so much more was rewritten by everything that happened after.

The Two Forces That Shape You

Your astrology chart – the reflection of the energetic encoding of the moment of your first breath – tells one truth about the nature of your design. Your childhood tells another around the nurture of your development.

Your story, the person you've become, including your money story, exists in the space between the two. Where design meets development and where transformation becomes the integration of everything that came before to get you where you are now.

Think of it like this: nature is the imprint of the energetics of your first breath, as reflected in your astrology chart. This is your cosmic design that shaped you. On the other side, nurture is the sum total accumulation of your choices, your experiences, and the influences that shaped who you became and how you express yourself.

Evolution Means Transcend AND Include

We are currently closing out Scorpio season, which means the veils are thin, the mirrors we're being faced with are sometimes brutally honest, and the work is about bringing what's been running the show into the light where you can actually use it. Making the unconscious conscious.

Here's what this season reminds us: evolution isn't about fixing yourself. It's about including yourself.

The principle of evolution is transcend and include. And it's this "include" part that Scorpio loves to remind us about. You have to take it all with you. You can't escape yourself or any part of yourself. It all needs to be brought to the light of awareness and integrated into the version of you that you carry forward.

As humans, we love to split life into binaries – fate or free will, nature or nurture, strategy or soul. But the medicine is in the synthesis. Those seemingly opposite or conflicting parts all want to be brought in and included into the complex beings that we actually are.

Why Most Money Work Fails

Most money work, most money guidance completely fails because it ignores this part. It skips the narrative. It skips these deeply rooted meaningful parts of our experience, trying to just fix behavior without honoring the story behind it.

We love the climax, but we resist the setup. We want the change, but we don't want to acknowledge and accept what we're changing from. That messy human part where contrast and conflict live – that's the juicy stuff. That's what makes the story worth telling.

Your finances are gunked up with past influences that shape what's possible for you now. And when you see your finances through the lens of story, any shame you're holding – which logically is totally irrational because none of this was in your control – that shame turns to structure and scaffolding for something new.

The deep meaning that comes from connecting those past, present, and future dots is palpable. It's anything but the dry and boring that is part of most financial teachings. This stuff should be deeply meaningful to you, from the deep undercurrents around your past with money to the deep desires you hold for what you want money to make possible for you and your family.

The Power of Your Story Arc

There's something powerful about framing a story arc that takes you from where you've been and what shaped you, through the version of you in this moment being able to even conceive of the story, to the arc that carries you to where you want to go.

All of those pieces are part of it. The most powerful transformations follow a plot arc where there's a setup, a climax and catharsis for change, and then a resolution. A making it to the other side.

We're always somewhere in that arc. And life would not be nearly as interesting, nor would any story, movie, or book you've ever encountered, if it didn't follow an arc like that. If it didn't start somewhere non-ideal as the setup and take us through a transformation to get where we want to go.

Your life is following an arc like that too.

Nature: Your Divine Design

Let's start with the nature side of the spectrum – that divine design you were born with that shaped you.

Astrology shows the blueprint of how energy wants to move through you as a reflection of a snapshot of the energetic matrix that was your first breath. That you breathed into you and touched and shaped every cell in your body.

Before you would come to know the shifting landscape of how energy moves, you had this first moment. This home base familiarity with the energetic matrix that shows pathways, keys, codes to your innate rhythms for giving, receiving, stabilizing, expanding – all of it.

Your astrology doesn't box you in. It's a tool that reveals the current you flow best in. The way you're designed to receive, move, and ground energy.

The invitation isn't to fix yourself, but to use yourself. To give every part of you that's part of that energetic matrix a job, a purpose that serves your bigger purpose, your bigger aim and intention.

Nurture: Your Developed Patterns

On the other side of the spectrum is nurture – the influences, the examples you had. This side often shines a light on unconscious patterns you weren't even aware of that have been playing out with your relationship to money.

You likely have attachment patterns and tendencies when it comes to lots of areas of your life. You're probably most familiar with this concept when it comes to intimate relating – whether you lean anxious attached, avoidant, or disorganized, or if you're one of the lucky ones and lean toward secure attachment.

But did you know you have one of these for your relationship with money too? It's probably not the same one as your intimate relating tendency.

This nurture side of the spectrum develops through the learned patterns that continue to stay with you to the present moment. This could be your conditioning, your family systems, cultural money myths that were imprinted on you. It can include whatever your learned language of safety, or lack of it, is that you've internalized.

Your Patterns Need Presence, Not Punishment

When it comes to all that conditioning – stuff you couldn't control, that wasn't up to you – it is in your control now to face it, to become aware of it, and to integrate it. To repurpose it to support you with your aim moving forward.

These patterns don't need punishment. And often if you have an unconscious relationship to them, that's probably exactly what you've been doing without realizing it.

What they really need is your presence. So that through that awareness you can forgive them. Forgive the people that passed them on to you. Love them. Love those parts of yourself that ideally have the best of intentions from their limited vantage point.

They're probably just trying to protect you the best way they know how.

Tell them you're in charge here now. They don't need to do that anymore – it's not actually serving or supporting you. Find a way they can serve you better. Use the same skillset, the same motivation, but point it in a different direction that's aligned with what you're motivated to achieve.

Through that reassignment, you give those parts new jobs that support the person you are becoming. You liberate them from keeping you in the holding pattern of the person you have been.

When you do this, the chaos becomes choreography. You bring everyone together onto the same team to support a rhythm that actually works and supports the causes that matter to you.

The Magic of Integration

The real magic happens in the integration where both of these come together for a common cause. This is where alchemy happens – where the merging of the nature side of your design and the nurture side of what influenced your development gets stirred together and turns into embodied wisdom.

This is where structure becomes spell work, where you're able to craft systems that both honor your design and your current capacity.

Integration is the universal technology of transformation. Where awareness and compassion come together through the rhythm of practice to make things possible those smaller parts of you never would have thought could be.

It's a special kind of magic when you honor both your wiring and your history. When you bring it all with you. When you bring it to the light of day and presence it all together.

These were the cards, the stars you were dealt. And they become the raw material you then have to work with in your own alchemical process to turn them into the version of you that you envision and to be able to reach the places, the lifestyle, the income levels you fantasize about.

You're Always Writing Forward

If you're feeling ready to make a change, you're not starting over. You're never starting over. You're always writing forward. Transcend and include.

It's the only way to truly evolve with all parts of you.

The awareness of all your parts – whether the ones that nature started you with or nurture massaged into you - that's the doorway to actual lasting renewal. The reason that integrating those parts is so important is because it's not the end of a story. That's what makes it the beginning of a new one.

It's the moment you realize you are the author. You are the creator of your reality and the direction it takes you next. You are the one holding the pen.

Wholeness Is Wealth

Something to take with you: wholeness is wealth.

When we talk about money, you might be thinking about bottom lines and dollars. But ultimately we're talking about wealth, abundance, the phenomenon by which energy moves through you the way you were designed. Whether that's manifest materially as money or love or passion or any of these things moving through you.

A wholeness around that – being aligned with your design, bringing all your parts together to the table and the team - is what's going to make any of it feel the most fulfilling.

Every part of you belongs in what's next. In what's coming. In what you're calling in.
