We just had a new moon in Capricorn, Aquarius season is here, and this week both Mars and Venus are moving into Aquarius. If you're feeling a pull toward doing things differently with your money – toward innovation, experimentation, taking action even when you don't feel ready – you're right on time.

Because Aquarius energy doesn't do traditional. It doesn't follow the rules just because that's how it's always been done. And when it comes to money? Aquarius asks: what if there's a better way?

Let me tell you about a client who discovered that waiting for readiness was actually keeping her stuck.

She came to me with a long-standing pattern of financial avoidance. She could earn money. She'd handled finances successfully in corporate environments. But once she was running her own business, her relationship with money became this amorphous cloud of stress.

She'd oscillate between impulse spending, strategic justification of big risks, and complete avoidance of looking at the full picture. And she genuinely believed she needed to feel more stable, more certain, more prepared before she could actually engage with her numbers.

She was waiting for the right moment. The moment when she'd have enough energy, enough clarity, enough time to really do it right.

But that moment never came. And meanwhile, the avoidance was creating constant low-grade anxiety.

When we looked at her Grounding Code – which comes from her Moon placement in astrology – everything shifted.

Her Moon is in Aries in the tenth house. And what we discovered is that she doesn't ground through certainty or stability. She grounds through action and forward motion.

She doesn't feel safe by waiting until she has all the information. She feels safe by moving forward and figuring it out as she goes.

The avoidance pattern? It was actually destabilizing her. Every day she waited to look at her numbers was another day her nervous system was sitting in low-grade stress.

And here's what she told me after she pushed through the resistance and completed her revenue roadmap: "That was probably the hardest thing I've ever done... and I feel freaking amazing."

Venus in Aquarius is asking us to receive through collaboration and connection – which requires us to actually be visible and available, not hiding in avoidance.

I've seen this in my own journey. There have been so many times I've waited to feel ready before taking a financial step. And every single time, the waiting created more anxiety than the doing.

The innovation isn't always in the strategy itself. Sometimes the innovation is in your relationship with action.
