There's a reason you haven't been able to think or logic your way into a new money reality. A reason the new system, the money mantras, and every mindset trick you've tried just haven't landed.

None of it works when the story underneath your efforts stays the same.

That story is the part you can see and understand of the currents running below the surface. And if that story says you're just bad with money, or you're behind, or somehow flawed and doomed to repeat the same cycles that keep you stuck, no amount of mind setting or budgeting is going to set you free from that trap.

We're so much closer to these things when we're kids, living out those primal story arcs. So today I want to use that same power of story to shift what's happening with your money. Because naming your main character energy – something you can access through the reflection of your astrology chart – can recast you in a money narrative that moves you in the direction you actually want to go.

Why "Bad With Money" Is Usually a Misdiagnosis

Let's start with that "bad with money" story, whatever form it takes for you. It might be alive and well, pulling the strings behind the scenes. But it's not truth. And I want to shine a flashlight on it and name it for what it really is, so you can rewrite the kind of relationship you want to have with money and live out this story with a real turning point.

Here's the thing about the stories running the show within us. We didn't decide to put them there. More often than not, they came from our parents' examples of how they were with money. Or from past struggles that left such a permanent mark that we're now reenacting them to keep them in place. They're not something you consciously chose.

When you see this as a story with a beginning, middle, and aimed end, you realize you're standing in the middle right now. You can look behind you and see where you came from, why you were left with what you were, and what you're holding around money today. Naming it is what lets you consciously choose where you go next. There's a very real breadcrumb trail of how it all got there, and connecting those dots helps release the grip it has on you.

A lot of the time, it just came from being unsupported. But we tend to file it away as if we're somehow incapable, instead of the far more likely truth that we were unsupported or under-resourced in that area. That distinction matters. It's not saying anything about your actual capacity to be with money.

However it made its way in and got its hooks into you, the label you're carrying is not truth. It holds an important place in your story, but it is not a death sentence and it is not your identity.

The Freeze-Then-Hustle Loop

So many of us get stuck in the same loop. It looks like some kind of freeze or avoidance. Then you notice it inconsistently, and when you do, you overreact and hustle harder. Then you let it go, look away, and repeat the whole thing.

This loop tends to happen because you haven't made the connection between the money side of things and the magic. You see money as separate from the parts of your life and work that feel aligned and inspiring. Money becomes this thing you just have to do to stay compliant and keep it all sustainable. And because you haven't found a way to actually equate it with the fun and the inspiration, you get this lean-in, lean-out pattern.

To break the loop, the story has to shift. That's what opens up a new space to inhabit, a place where the pattern can stop playing out and you can settle into a new way as your new normal.

Your Sun Sign Is Your Main Character Energy

As usual in my world, we have a cosmic code to turn to for this. Your sun sign is that main character energy that makes the story possible. Like the gravitational center of the solar system, your sun is the central storyline that all the other arcs play a supporting role to.

You need to be rooted at the center of that main character energy to steer the course and direct the whole system differently. This is where we look to see your natural leadership style and your source of energy and motivation. Your money story deserves that same fire, that same light. Your cash flow is a vital lifeline in your life, so you want to position yourself as the central character in that story too.

You're not here to fit yourself into someone else's system, not even the financial system of this world. You want to center yourself at your own core, so that being yourself is the whole point. So that showing up even for the money side of things feels like a coming home to yourself.

Why Story Reaches the Place That Actually Changes Things

This is why story matters so much. Wherever you are on your money timeline, you want to see it from a bird's eye view. That's where you have the power to shift and change it. The once upon a time lead-up is the setup for the climax, the part that makes the story worth telling when your future self looks back on how you got where you wanted to be.

There's something mysterious about how well story works to touch the subconscious. Story speaks directly to a part of you that's otherwise hard to reach. And that's exactly where real change starts.

So here's what I want you to hold onto. You're not too late. You're not behind. Everything happens exactly in the timing it's meant to as part of the story arc. You're just mid plot, and that arc is still unfolding. You just need to step into the throne at the center of that main character position and start leading it differently, following it up with the behavior and the actions that support the new direction you want to go.

This is your plot pivot. And you are right on time.
