And I know that sounds simple. But the way it shows up in our lives – in our relationships, our businesses, our relationship with money – is anything but.

Just because someone or something can be or do something for us doesn't mean that they should.

A Pattern I Used to Repeat

Let me take you back for a second.

There was a version of me that kept playing out the same pattern in her love life, over and over again. It was the pattern of thinking a partner could be my everything.

Maybe I wasn't saying it out loud. But I was falling head over heels, fully infatuated, hoping that this person would be the whole package – the answer to everything.

And every time, inevitably, it didn't work. The relationship would fall apart, and I'd come crashing back into myself – only to do it all over again.

What Actually Works

Fast forward to now. I'm happily married and in a secure, beautiful relationship with my husband.

And a big part of why it works? I don't expect him to be my everything.

We know where we overlap well and love to come together. We also know where we don't. It's less about trying to fit each other into every single part of our lives, and more about finding how we best fit into each other's lives.

That shift changed everything.

What This Has to Do With AI

This episode is also a soft launch for Season 5 – and that means some transparency is in order.

If you listened to Season 4, you may or may not have realized that every episode was built on an AI-leveraged workflow. From the script to the AI voice avatar generating it. I put a lot of work into getting it exactly right, but the truth is – it wasn't me showing up like this.

It wasn't a mistake. It was completely intentional and served a very specific purpose: freeing up my time while I spent the last two years building out the infrastructure and offer ecosystem for this business. Last week, I checked the final box on that. The core offers are built.

So now I get to come back – with more spaciousness, more presence, and more of my actual human self in the mix.

It doesn't feel like a backpedal. It feels like the dance evolving.

Companies Are Learning This Too

This isn't just a personal thing – it's playing out on a massive scale.

You've heard the stories about companies replacing huge portions of their workforce with AI. But have you heard what's happening next? A lot of those same companies are now trying to hire humans back – because it turns out, there are some things AI just doesn't do well.

Customer service is a big one. People still want to talk to a human.

AI cannot be our everything. Because nothing can be our everything.

The Money Version of This Story

Here's where it lands in the coin drop.

There was a time when I was making great money as a tax preparer. And it's not that I only did it for the paycheck – but the paycheck was a big part of it. And I wasn't fulfilled in all the ways I could be.

Now? Things have flipped. I do what I do because I feel called to it, because I love it, because people need it from me – and the money follows.

Money has its place. It's not the whole kingdom. And when you stop treating it like it is, it tends to show up more – and feel a lot more chill when it does.

What I Want for You
Whether it's how you make money, how you tend to it, or what you do with it after it's yours – my prayer for you is that all of it is aligned with who you are.

Your unique design. Your desires.
